Check your book against Amazon KDP before you upload it
KDP rejects interiors for page size, bleed, gutter and missing fonts — problems you cannot see in a PDF viewer. Upload the file and get a page-by-page report in seconds, fix it with one click, then convert the same manuscript into a reflowable EPUB for the Kindle edition.
What the preflight checks
Every page is rendered and the printed ink is measured, so the report names the pages that are actually too close to an edge — not just the page size. The checks cover the trim size and bleed dimensions, the inside gutter KDP demands for your page count (0.375" up to 150 pages, then 0.5", 0.625", 0.75" and 0.875"), outside/top/bottom margins, page count, embedded fonts, image resolution, encryption and stray crop boxes.
One-click Auto-Fix
Auto-Fix rebuilds the interior at the exact KDP page size, scales each page into a safe area that respects the binding gutter on the correct side of every spread, strips crop boxes and adds a blank page when the count is odd. Text stays vector; only pages with a /Rotate flag are re-rendered upright at 300 DPI. The result downloads as KDP_Ready_<book>.pdf. A rebuild costs 6 credits for a typical book and scales with page count and file size; credits are refunded automatically if the rebuild fails.
PDF to EPUB in the same step
The converter turns the PDF into an EPUB 3 with a navigation document, a table of contents, metadata and a cover taken from page 1. Text pages reflow for Kindle; scanned pages without a text layer are embedded as page images so nothing is lost.
Print and Kindle from one manuscript
You write the book once — with the AI Book Writer or in your own tool — and publish it twice: a print-ready interior for KDP paperback and a reflowable EPUB for KDP eBook. The file is measured on our server and deleted straight after the response.
